Hırka havası
A decision, not a degree.
If a Turkish mother designed a weather app, it would not show you a number. It would tell you what to wear. HIRKA does exactly that: one sentence, based on where you are.
“Whatever the weather says, a cardigan will do.”

9:41What is HIRKA?
HIRKA is a weather and outfit app that answers "what should I wear today?" with one sentence instead of a temperature. It reads the feels-like temperature, wind and rain for your location and shows one of four levels: Atlet havası (tank-top weather), Hırka havası (cardigan weather), Mont havası (coat weather) or Bugün çıkma (stay in). It is built for iPhone and Android, the interface is in Turkish, and the core features are free. HIRKA+ costs €2.99/month or €19.99/year.
The default thresholds are 10° and 16° feels-like, and they shift with your "easily chilled" setting, how you get around and your feedback. How is cardigan weather calculated? · What to wear by temperature
Ready in three steps
Setup takes a minute. HIRKA learns the rest.
Share your location
We need to know where you are to translate the weather. An approximate location is enough.
9:41Tell us how you feel the cold
Easily chilled, normal, or hardly ever cold. Walking, cycling, transit? We adjust to you.
9:41Read one sentence
Tank-top, cardigan or coat weather, or stay in. No number crunching on your side.
9:41Four levels, four sentences
Tuned to you: the same weather feels different to everyone. The "easily chilled" slider and the "how did it feel today?" feedback personalise the thresholds.

Atlet havası
Tank-top weather. Sunny and warm, leave the cardigan at home.
≥ 17°
Hırka havası
Cardigan weather. Cool morning, mild noon. Grab the cardigan and you are set.
For you 12–17°
Mont havası
Coat weather. Sharp wind, cold air. Remember coat, scarf and beanie.
< 12°
Bugün çıkma
Stay-in day. Storm, downpour or deep freeze. Make tea.
Rough weather
9:41Timely, clear nudges
An app that stays quiet and speaks at the right moment. At 23:00 it tells you tomorrow's weather, and during the day only what matters. Quiet hours 22:00 to 07:00, at most four notifications a day. (Notifications are in Turkish.)

On your home screen, lock screen and wrist
You do not even have to open the app. Small, medium and large widgets, an Apple Watch app and a complication turn the forecast into a cardigan decision at a glance.
Today, this week, and why
See why it is cardigan weather: wind, sun, evening chill. Plan your week and your suitcase with the weekly view.

Frequently asked questions
Is HIRKA free?
Yes. Weather, the four levels, notifications, widgets and Apple Watch are free. Wardrobe scan, Today for you, Layer plan, Suitcase and "HIRKA learned you" come with HIRKA+: €2.99/month or €19.99/year, 7-day free trial.
Does it not show degrees?
The home screen shows one sentence. The feels-like temperature sits in the details if you are curious, but the point is answering "what do I wear?".
How do you use my location?
Only for the forecast, using a rounded (approximate) location. Details are in the Privacy page. You can turn off location access any time in iOS or Android settings.
Where does the weather data come from?
Apple WeatherKit is the primary source, MET Norway the fallback. The app does not call them directly, data goes through the HIRKA server.
Can I turn notifications off?
Yes. In "Tell me" settings you toggle each type and change the morning and evening times. Quiet hours are 22:00 to 07:00.
Which devices?
iPhone, Android phones, iOS and Android widgets, and Apple Watch. The app is in Turkish.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: You > Account > Delete account. Or follow the steps at hirka.app/hesap-sil, or email info@hirka.app.
When is it launching?
We are preparing the store release. Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
